Sensory Bin:
Blue
What do you think was their favorite? Think messy......the tinsel of course.
By the time they were done there was tinsel all over the living room. So I made clean up activity after they were done with the sensory bin.
I pulled out the egg crates for them to sort items.
I love Sensory bins. It's amazing how long a little bin can keep their interest for so long. Today was a blue theme. These are so easy to do. Every time I'm at the $1 store I'll pick up a couple of unusual things that they'll love playing with.

How fun! I love the idea of a color theme for little ones. I actually bought red foil shreds for our Valentine's sensory tub, but I'm debating on using a whole bag or not. I guess it will be a good trial run, because I was thinking Easter grass for Easter!
ReplyDeleteI always find myself picking up random items when I'm out too, thinking they would be neat for a sensory tub!

ReplyDeleteFun! Great way to spend a winter day. Thanks for linking it to Monday Madness.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very simple yet educational idea. You are very creative! I just went with a few books that had different textures but your sensory bins are an easy and low-cost activity for busy moms to set up.
